Aldol® 535 myo-inositol-1-phosphate, ammonium salt is a chromogenic substrate for the enzyme, phosphoglucomutase. This product is used for the detection of phosphoglucomutase by its ability to react with this enzyme and produce a blue or green color. Aldol® 535 myo-inositol-1-phosphate, ammonium salt is also used as a ligand in fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) experiments. It has an EC number of CAS No. 2484872-80-0 and a molecular weight of 345.05 g/mol.
