Description:
Butyl benzenesulfonate is a chemical compound that is used in the production of detergents, lubricants and pharmaceuticals. It has been shown to be genotoxic in a variety of biological studies. Butyl benzenesulfonate is also a cationic surfactant with redox potentials that are suitable for use as a catalyst in organic syntheses.
