1,3-Diethyl-1,3-diphenylurea is a solid phase microextraction (SPME) stationary phase that is chemically stable and has UV absorption properties. It is used in sample preparation for analysis of nitrogen containing compounds by GC. The extraction efficiency of 1,3-diethyl-1,3-diphenylurea on the active site of the enzyme with a carbonyl group or a fatty acid moiety is much higher than other stationary phases. It can be used for the detection time and gravimetric analysis of pharmaceuticals. The logistic regression model was developed to predict the probability that a drug will be detected by using 1,3-diethyl-1,3-diphenylurea as the stationary phase.
