Description:Chlorendic Acid is an inorganic acid that is used as a hydrogen donor. It has been shown to be effective in the reduction of ethylene diamine and 2,4-dichlorobenzoic acid and can be used as a catalyst for the synthesis of glycol ethers. Chlorendic Acid has also been shown to cause liver lesions in rats when given intraperitoneally at high doses, with no evidence of carcinogenicity. Chlorendic Acid is not considered to be a carcinogenic hazard and does not show genotoxicity or mutagenicity properties.
