ELN484228 has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro by binding to the wild-type p53 receptor and preventing it from entering into the nucleus of the cell. This ligand also blocks tumorigenesis in vivo by inhibiting tumor angiogenesis, metastasis, and invasion.
ELN484228 is soluble in organic solvents such as DMSO or DMF. In addition, it is an analogue of ELN484220, which has shown efficacy against Alzheimer's disease in animal models.
