Description:
Hydrocinchonidine is a phosphorus pentachloride that can be used as an anti-malarial drug. It is a bifunctional molecule and has been shown to have biological properties. In addition, hydrocinchonidine has been found to be effective in the synthesis of quinoline derivatives with a fluorine atom. Hydrocinchonidine is also used in skin tests for allergic reactions and as a preservative in topical medications.
