Description:

Soyasapogenol C is the major primary metabolite of soyasaponin I. It is a bioactive compound with a number of potential therapeutic applications, including anticancer activity and immune response enhancement. Soyasapogenol C was found to be more potent than soyasaponin I in inhibiting the growth of human breast cancer cells. This compound has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects, which may be due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis. Soyasapogenol C is a secondary metabolite that can be isolated from plants such as Glycine max (soybean).
