It has been shown to be reactive with monocarboxylic acids and ester compounds. The molecular weight of 2,4,6-trimethoxy-1,3,5-triazine increases with increasing temperature. This chemical has also been shown to be an efficient crosslinking agent for both hydrated and linear filaments.
