Isocalamendiol is a curcuma aromatica extract that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of eczema. It has been shown to have an anti-inflammatory effect on skin cells and may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, COX-2, and nitric oxide. Isocalamendiol also has synergistic interactions with other herbs such as ganoderma lucidum, fructus, dehydrocostus lactone, and caco-2 cells.
