Description:Felbamate Related Compound A is a metabolite of felbamate, a drug used in the treatment of epilepsy and some types of neuropathic pain. It has been shown to be active against cholinergic receptors, with significant cytotoxicity in human tumor cells. Felbamate Related Compound A has also been shown to be effective as an anti-inflammatory agent (potentiating the effects of corticosteroids) and for treating bladder cancer. The oral administration dose is about 10 mg/kg, which is approximately five times lower than the therapeutic dose for felbamate.
