Description:

Carnitine is a natural substance that is important in the metabolism of fatty acids. Isobutryl carnitine D3 (IBD3) is a form of carnitine that was designed to be more readily absorbed by the body than other forms. It has been shown to have potential as a biomarker for diseases such as bowel disease and coronary heart disease, and may be used to diagnose or monitor these conditions. IBD3 has also been shown to increase energy production in cells and can be used for HIV infection, where it increases the number of CD4+ T-cells and reduces viral load.
