N-Propylacrylamide is an organic monomer that is used in the production of acrylate polymers. It is a reactive chemical that can be used to modify surfaces and create coatings. N-Propylacrylamide has been shown to react with ammonium persulfate in the presence of an organic solvent to form a polymer. This reaction creates particles that are then used as a phase transition temperature probe for polymerization reactions.
