(R)-N-(8-(2-Hydroxy-3-morpholinopropoxy)-7-methoxy-2,3-dihydroimidazo[1,2-c]quinazolin-5-yl)-2-methylnicotinamide is a ligand that binds to the GABA receptor. It is a potent inhibitor of the receptor and has been shown to alter neuronal activity. The inhibition of the GABA receptor by (R)-N-(8-(2-Hydroxy-3-morpholinopropoxy)-7-methoxy-2,3-dihydroimidazo[1,2c]quinazolin--5yl)-2methylnicotinamide may be responsible for its anticonvulsant properties. This compound also inhibits protein interactions with receptors and ion channels.
