Description:
Sb 243213 hydrochloride is a serotonin 2c receptor antagonist. It blocks the binding of serotonin to 5-HT2CR, thereby preventing the downstream effects of serotonin. Sb 243213 hydrochloride has been shown to be effective in treating psychiatric disorders such as depression and anxiety. This drug is also used to treat irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other gastrointestinal disorders.
