Product Information
ML335 is a selective inhibitor of the enzyme fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH), which is responsible for the degradation of endogenous cannabinoids. ML335 has been shown to inhibit FAAH with an IC50 value of 0.2 μM, and thereby increase the levels of endocannabinoids in mice and rats. This compound also binds to other basic proteins, including voltage-gated potassium channels, and may have analgesic effects as a result. The activation of these channels leads to increased neuronal excitability and pain relief. It is thought that ML335 could be used for chronic pain treatment due to its ability to inhibit FAAH and its downstream effects on other proteins.
