Description:
Lincomycin 2-palmitate hydrochloride is a natural antibiotic that is used for the treatment of bacterial, viral, and protozoal infections. This drug works by inhibiting the synthesis of peptidoglycan in bacteria and thus preventing cell wall synthesis. Lincomycin 2-palmitate hydrochloride is also an antiparasitic, antifungal, and antibacterial agent. It has been shown to inhibit replication of HIV-1 in human cells.
