Product Information
Jingzhaotoxin III is a small peptide that has been expressed in Drosophila melanogaster and has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on brain natriuretic peptide (BNP). Jingzhaotoxin III decreases the amplitude of BNP-induced camp levels, and this decrease can be reversed by removing extracellular calcium. Jingzhaotoxin III also has a voltage-gated sodium channel blocking effect, which can be inhibited by adding extracellular calcium. Jingzhaotoxin III interacts with calyces and blocks their activation. This inhibition of calyx activation is reversible when extracellular calcium is removed.
