6-O-Methacrylate is a synthetic chemical compound that is used in the treatment of microbial infections and cancer. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of microorganisms by binding to DNA, inhibiting protein synthesis and cell division. 6-O-Methacrylate also binds to the ribosomal subunit of bacteria and inhibits protein synthesis.
