Product Information
4-Iodo-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine is a nucleophilic compound that reacts with electrophiles to form covalent bonds. It is used in cross-coupling reactions to synthesize organic compounds. The dihydrochloride salt can be formed by reacting the compound with hydrochloric acid (HCl) or aqueous sodium hydroxide (NaOH). This salt can then react with tofacitinib citrate in water to form 4-iodo-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine dihydrochloride and tofacitinib citrate. 4-Iodo-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine dihydrochloride has been shown to have cytotoxic effects on cells grown in vitro.
