Product Information
- Pyridine, 2-(3,5-difluorophenyl)-
2-(3,5-Difluorophenyl)pyridine (2DPP) is a bipyridine ancillary ligand that is used in the synthesis of organic compounds. As a heteroleptic compound, 2DPP has two different electronic structures: the ionic and photophysical. The ionic form is found to be more stable than the neutral form by about 1.5 kcal/mol. 2DPP has been shown to have high luminescence properties and can be used as a precursor for other fluorescent compounds.
