Product Information
BMS-986158 is a small molecule that binds to the bromodomain and inhibits transcriptional activation by regulating gene expression. It also has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo through its ability to regulate genes that have a role in tumorigenesis. BMS-986158 can be administered orally, which may be useful for patients with thrombocytopenia or other conditions where intravenous administration is not possible. This drug has pharmacokinetic properties that are similar to those of other small molecules, such as a terminal half-life of less than six hours, allowing it to be rapidly cleared from the body. The drug also binds to toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and blocks the TLR4 signaling pathway, thereby inhibiting inflammation. BMS-986158 has been shown to inhibit colony-stimulating factor (CSF) production in both human and mouse cells, which may reduce the side effects of chemotherapy treatments
