1-Tetradecene is an aromatic hydrocarbon that belongs to the group of diphenyl ethers. It has a low toxicity and is not carcinogenic or mutagenic. 1-Tetradecene has been shown to have a variety of biological properties, including antimicrobial activity against bacteria and fungi, inhibition of protease activity, and inhibition of lipid peroxidation.
