Product Information
2-Fluoro-hypoxanthine is a guanine-based nucleoside analogue that is used as a fluorescent probe. It has been shown to regularize duplexes of dna and ssDNA in organic solvents, such as acetonitrile and tetrahydrofuran. 2-Fluoro-hypoxanthine has also been shown to be an effective labeling agent for oligodeoxynucleotides, which are short strands of DNA or RNA. It is also used as a probe in model systems to study the conformational properties of guanine bases.
