Product Information
- Phenyl Ethenesulfonate
Phenyl vinylsulfonate is a redox-active molecule that binds to the phosphate group of glutamate and cross-links amide groups. The stability of this film-forming polymer can be increased by adding an asymmetric synthesis and quinoline derivatives. Phenyl vinylsulfonate has been used as a cross-linking agent for the production of amide hydrogels, which are film forming polymers. This polymer is also used in the manufacture of antimicrobial agents.
