Product Information
Erythrartine is a cholinergic drug that has physiological effects on the heart, lungs, and stomach. It can also be used to treat seizures in epileptic patients. Erythrartine is a flavonol glycoside with antioxidant properties. It has been shown to be hepatoprotective against acetate extract-induced liver injury in rats and erythrartine has also shown activity against fatty acids-induced oxidative stress in rat liver cells. Molecular modeling studies have been done to explore the interaction of erythrartine with serotonergic receptors and other molecular targets.
Erythrartine is hydroalcoholic, which means it dissolves well in water or alcohol.
