N-(2-Aminoethyl)methacrylamide hydrochloride is a monomer that can be polymerized to form a magnetic particle. This polymerization process is efficient and can be used to produce nanogels. N-(2-Aminoethyl)methacrylamide hydrochloride is also an efficient cross-linking agent for the preparation of magnetic particles. This compound has shown potential as an antigen carrier in vaccine development, and has been tested with HIV and influenza virus vaccines. The high synthetic efficiency of this compound makes it a promising candidate for use in the production of synthetic sequences for nucleic acid hybridization detection methods.
