Product Information
Odoriflavene is a drug that has been shown to inhibit platelet aggregation, and has been studied in the treatment of cancer, cardiovascular disorders and blood disorders. Odoriflavene inhibits fatty acid oxidation by inhibiting carnitine palmitoyltransferase-1 (CPT-1) and carnitine palmitoyltransferase-2 (CPT-2). It also inhibits the production of reactive oxygen species. Odoriflavene has been shown to have synergistic effects with chemotherapeutic drugs in vitro and in vivo. The chemical structure of odoriflavene is not fully understood, but it is thought to be a phenylpropanoid type phytochemical that may have antioxidant properties.
