Description:
Octacosyl (E)-ferulate is an acetate extract from the fruit of Phellinus erythrina, which has been shown to have cytotoxic effects against human cancer cells. Octacosyl (E)-ferulate has also been shown to inhibit fatty acid synthase and reduce the production of diterpenes in Robinia. The extract has also been found to have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antitumor properties.
