Description

Syk Inhibitor II is an irreversible oxidation agent that is a specific agonist of the Syk protein, which plays a role in inflammatory cytokine production. This compound has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties in vitro and in vivo. Syk Inhibitor II inhibits the activation of hematopoietic cells by preventing the binding of mitogenic growth factors to their receptors on the cell surface. It also prevents T-cell lymphomas by inhibiting the proliferation of activated T-cells. Syk Inhibitor II also has been shown to inhibit chronic lymphocytic leukemia by regulating the expression of genes that are important for cell growth and differentiation.
