Product Information
Penehyclidine hydrochloride is an anti-inflammatory agent that inhibits the phosphodiesterase enzyme and increases intracellular cAMP levels. It binds to the toll-like receptor and has been shown to suppress a lps-induced inflammatory response in vitro and in vivo. Penehyclidine hydrochloride has been shown to have long-term toxicity at high doses, but does not have any adverse effects on mitochondrial membrane potential or myocardial infarct size at low doses. This drug also inhibits apoptosis by binding to the TNF receptor, blocking nuclear factor kappa B (NFκB) activation, and preventing the release of cytochrome c from mitochondria following stimulation with tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα).
