KRH 3955 also potently inhibits the replication of X4 HIV-1, including recombinant X4 HIV-1 with mutations conferring resistance to NRTIs, NNRTIs, PIs and T20. KRH 3955 may have therapeutic potential in diseases involving CXCR4-SDF-1 interaction, such as cancer, leukaemia, rheumatoid arthritis and pulmonary fibrosis.
