Product Information
- (4-Bromo-3,6-dimethoxybenzocyclobuten-1-yl)methylamine hydrobromide
TCB 2 is a molecule that has been shown to have neuronal function. It also binds to 5-HT1A and 5-HT2 receptors, which are involved in the regulation of locomotor activity and skin cancer. TCB 2 has been shown to inhibit chelerythrine, an antagonist at the 5-HT2 receptor. This inhibition may be due to its ability to inhibit insulin-stimulated glucose uptake. TCB 2 has dose-dependent effects on systolic pressure and 5-HT2C receptors. It is an inhibitor of insulin-stimulated glucose uptake.
