Product Information

Name:
Ganoderlactone D
Description:

Ganoderlactone D is a natural product that has been isolated from the fungus Ganoderma lucidum. It is an oxygenated chromatographic profile of ganoderic acid, which has been shown to have antidiabetic and anti-inflammatory effects. Ganoderlactone D can be used for the treatment of diabetes mellitus type II and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as other conditions such as dyslipidemia, hypercholesterolemia, atherosclerosis, and hypertension. Ganoderlactone D inhibits the activity of many enzymes by binding to the active site. These enzymes include alloxan (competitive inhibition), lanostane (competitive inhibition), adriamycin (competitive inhibition), and ganoderic acid (inhibits formation of hydrogen bonds).
