AM-1241 is a cannabinoid receptor 2 agonist that inhibits the growth of cancer cells. It has been shown to inhibit cell proliferation and induce apoptosis in human glioblastoma cell lines. AM-1241 also inhibits the production of proteins that are associated with tumorigenesis, such as cyclin D1, cyclin E, Bcl-2, and survivin. AM-1241 is currently being investigated for its potential use in cancer treatment.
