Description:
Aporeine is a natural compound isolated from the plant Stephania dahurica. This compound has been shown to have cytotoxic effects, inhibition of cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases, and immunomodulatory effects in vitro. Aporeine also exhibits antimicrobial activity against bacteria and fungi. Aporeine has been found to be effective at inhibiting cervical cancer cells in culture.
