Aminocarb is an insecticide that is used to control pests such as the house fly. It has been shown to inhibit phospholipase A 2 and lead to a decrease in the level of arachidonic acid, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the activity of dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH). Aminocarb also inhibits the production of camp levels and matrix effect, which are important for the development of insects. The fluorescence probe cresyl violet can be used to detect aminocarb by measuring light emission from the reaction between aminocarb and NADPH. This product can cause immunomodulatory effects in mammals, such as altering their immune response.
