Pipazetate is a pharmaceutical preparation that is used to treat chronic cough, bowel disease, and infectious diseases. Pipazetate is an analog of the natural fatty acid, prostaglandin E1. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects in animal models of autoimmune diseases and inflammatory bowel disease. Pipazetate is also used as a drug to prevent rejection of transplanted organs. The optimum concentration range for pipazetate is 0.5-10 micrometers, which can be achieved with a hydrochloric acid solution.
