Epipterosin L is a natural product that is isolated from the Chinese medicinal plant, Epipterygium wilfordii. It has been found to have anticancer properties in vitro and in vivo. Epipterosin L is an analytical standard for HPLC and was used as a reference material in a study of secondary metabolites. It also has beta-glucuronidase activity and can act as a precursor to epipterosin A.
