Product Information
TAK-659 is a small molecule that has been shown to be highly selective for the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). It inhibits the phosphorylation of EGFR and subsequent downstream signaling through protein kinases. TAK-659 may be used for the treatment of autoimmune diseases, including psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, and Crohn's disease. In addition, this drug has been shown to inhibit platelet aggregation and to stimulate hematopoietic cells in cancer patients. TAK-659 is also being investigated as a potential drug for the treatment of cancer due to its ability to inhibit cellular transformation.
