PSB 1115 is a small-molecule compound that has been shown to inhibit the p2 receptor and extracellular adenosine A3 receptor. It is also able to inhibit tumor growth by inhibiting the cancer cell's ability to produce ATP, which is necessary for its survival. PSB 1115 has been shown in animal studies to have anti-inflammatory properties and may be useful in treating bladder inflammation. Furthermore, PSB 1115 has been shown to have high lipophilicity, which allows it to cross the blood-brain barrier more easily than other compounds. This property may make it a promising candidate for the treatment of neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease.
