(11β,17β)-11-[4-(Dimethylamino)phenyl]-17-hydroxy-17-(1-propyn-1-yl)androst-4-en-3-one is a synthetic androgen with some anabolic properties. It is a potent inhibitor of the sodium channel and has been shown to be an activator of calcitonin gene related peptide (CGRP) receptor. This drug binds to the CGRP receptor and may have effects on blood pressure, heart rate, and inflammation.
