Description:
CMV pp65 is a peptide that is derived from the human cytomegalovirus (CMV) protein pp65. This peptide has been shown to have immunodominant activity against CMV in human cells. The peptide was found to bind to the p53 tumor suppressor protein, which led to activation of the cellular checkpoint pathway and induction of apoptosis in cancer cells.
