Description:GRGD-acid is a cell adhesive peptide containing the RGD motif. This enables it the ability to increase cell adhesion and rates of cell growth, differentiation and proliferation. When immobilised onto a Poly(etheretherketone) (PEEK) surface it has been shown to increase cell adhesion and proliferation in MC3T3-E1 cells. GRGD could therefore be used in dental implants.
