Description:

CHKtide is a synthetic peptide substrate for checkpoint kinase 1 and 2 (CHK1/CHK2) as well as salt-inducible kinase (SIKs) for use in kinase assays. CHKtide has been derived from CDC25C which is phosphorylated by CHK1/CHK2 in one of the DNA repair pathways. SIKs are serine/threonine kinases that are part of a complex network that regulate sodium homeostasis and blood pressure. The serine residue at position 5 has been phosphorylated and the valine residue at positon 4 has been isotopically labelled with carbon-13(5) and nitrogen-15(1).
