The biocompatible polymer has been shown to have phase transition temperature of 50°C and an acyl chain length of 15 carbon atoms. Poly[(15:0) PC] can also be used as a carrier for diagnostic agents, such as those used in bacterial vaginosis or fatty acid detection.br>br>
