Description:
Deoxylapachol is a prenylated fatty acid that inhibits cancer cell growth. It is a natural product that inhibits leukemia cells and has been shown to inhibit the biosynthesis of shikimate, which is a precursor for the synthesis of aromatic amino acids. Deoxylapachol also has anti-inflammatory properties due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in tissues. This product can be extracted from plants, such as Lapachol, or synthetically produced.
