SP141 is a monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to β-catenin, which is an essential component of the Wnt signaling pathway. SP141 inhibits the transcriptional activity of β-catenin, leading to reduced cell proliferation and tumor growth in CD1 mice. SP141 has been shown to induce apoptosis in various cancer cells and synergize with other types of monoclonal antibodies. SP141 was also found to be effective at reducing tumor size in human carcinoma cell lines and clinical pathology specimens.
