Neorauflavene is an isoflavone derivative that belongs to the class of phenolic compounds. It has been shown to have a sunscreen effect and to exhibit antioxidant activity. Neorauflavene has also been shown to inhibit the enzymatic activity of benzodiazepine, which may be due to its ability to act as an antioxidant. This compound is found in the species Neorautanenia amboensis and Neorautanenia sp.
