Product Information
Flavaprin is a natural compound that inhibits the growth of cancer cells and has been shown to act as an antioxidant. Flavaprin is found in fructus and other plants, such as bergamot peel, and has been shown to inhibit tumor cell proliferation. Flavaprin also binds to β-catenin and inhibits its translocation into the nucleus. This may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) or scavenge ROS. Flavaprin inhibits the activity of PC3 prostate carcinoma cells by inhibiting their proliferation, apoptosis, and migration. It also inhibits the growth of h1299 lung carcinoma cells by increasing their susceptibility to oxidative stress, which results in decreased cell viability.
