Product Information
MI-773 is a small molecule that inhibits the activation of ubiquitin ligases. These enzymes are involved in the regulation of protein degradation, cell cycle progression, and apoptosis. MI-773 has been shown to inhibit cancer cell growth and induce apoptosis in vitro. It also reduces xenograft tumor growth and induces tumor regression in vivo. MI-773 inhibits proliferation by inhibiting the expression of cell cycle regulators such as cyclin D1 and CDK4, which are involved in the regulation of cellular proliferation. This agent also induces apoptotic cell death by activating caspase 3, an enzyme that plays a role in initiating apoptosis.
